Canon EOS Rebel XSi Digital Camera

  • Canon U.S.A., Inc. presented their new Digital Camera from the EOS Rebel series, the 12.2-megapixel EOS Rebel XSi camera. The stylish camera comprises of large 3.0-inch LCD display with 230,000 pixels, APS-C size Canon CMOS sensor and DIGIC III Image Processor to enable superb captures. The camera is crafted from rugged yet lightweight amalgamation of stainless steel and polycarbonate embedded with glass fiber. The attractive black and trendy silver finishing captivates the eyes of keen observers.

  • The EOS Rebel XSi camera is an enhancement to the popular XTi model and clicks sharper shots at ISO 1600 sensitivity through the APS-C size Canon CMOS sensor. The 14-bit A/D processor, one of the upgrades enables recording with 16,384 colors per channel for better color gradations and finer tone. Other functions include Highlight Tone Priority and High-ISO Noise Reduction, Canon's Auto Lighting Optimizer technology, Enhanced Live View and EOS Integrated Cleaning System.The Canon EOS Rebel XSi Digital Camera will ship in April 2008 for a price of $799.99.
